CatSacks – A Cozy Hidden Object Game

It’s the annual Catawauloo camping trip at Farmer Calico’s farm! The cat scouts are excited to earn new badges and play their favorite games, especially the big sack race!

CatSacks is a cozy hidden object game of fuzzy friends with a little twist of Rube Goldbergesque puzzle solving fun. Or, on a more personal level, an homage to the early Where’s Waldo books, internet Flash games and recent Hidden Folks adventure by Adrianne De Jonge.

I’m excited, and – let’s be real, a little terrified, to be announcing my first ever solo video game made with Unity – CatSacks.

My first solo game was originally just to be about learning C# and Unity in order to create CYOA (Choose Your Own Adventure) visual novels.  However, a silly conversation with friends and seeing the origin story of Hidden Folks (seriously, play his game, it’s a chill joy) made creating CatSacks the obvious choice.

If you’d like to try out the demo:

CatSacks on Steam

CatSacks on itch.io

CatSacks on Kickstarter (coming soon)

If you’d like to hear more about this silly and humbling journey so far you can find me as Comma Crash on itch.io, Steam and Kickstarter.
